Paguera is a modern tourist resort in the south west of Majorca, in the district of Calvia.
Description
Paguera has developed from a small fishing village into a tourist-orientated town, and is particularly popular with German tourists. The resort is clean and well laid-out, with three beaches, Playa Palmira, Playa Tora, and Playa La Romana, each of which has plenty of facilities for sunbathing and watersports. The Blue Flag status beaches are joined by a pedestrian promenade which runs along the seafront.
There are plenty of shops, bars, restaurants and cafes along the main street that runs the full length of the resort. A fairly lively resort, it has plenty of nightlife and is not especially recommended if you are seeking peace and quiet, as there are several discos that stay open until the early hours.
