S'illot is a very pleasant beach resort, with just enough amenities for a relaxing holiday. The resort has a lovely promenade that runs right through it, lined with palm trees, and with a fair selection of bars, restaurants, cafes and shops.
Description
The beach at S'Illot is very pretty, with soft sands and very calm, warm waters that lap gently. There are plenty of facilities such as sunbeds and parasols for hire, and a choice of watersports.
The pace of life (including the nightlife) is laid back and relaxed - there are few lively bars here, with evening entertainment mainly provided by the hotels.
Once a small fishing village, S'Illot has evolved to cater for tourists, yet still retains that traditional Mallorcan feel, perhaps in part due to the well-controlled pace of development in the area. To this day, you can still see working fishing boats in and around the fishing port area near the beach at S'Illot.
