The former spa of Kalithea, built in the 1920's, was once promoted as a spa for rheumatism. Kalithea springs have been fully restored and welcome visitors as one of the main attractions on Rhodes.

Ladiko Bay, also known as Anthony Quinn Bay is a very secluded and beautiful area which actor Anthony Quinn fell in love with after filming 'The Guns of Navarone' in Rhodes. He decided to try and buy the isolated bay to create an international centre for the arts, but the plans never materialised and the bay remains an untouched beauty spot.
