The climate of Evia is Mediterranean. Winters are mild but rainy, and summers are hot with plenty of sunshine. Evia has about 2.700 hours of sunshine per year, with more sunshine in the South and coastal areas. The maximum average temperature on the Island is 28°C during autumn, 15°C in the winter, 24°C in the spring, and 32°C in the summer. However, during the summer, there are days when the temperature reaches 35°C.
