Generous Olympic Holidays’ customers and staff at head office have raised more than £40,000 for Alder Hey Children’s Hospital in Liverpool through a number of fundraising events and a new donation option when booking a holiday online. 

The money has transformed white-walled clinics into ‘Rooms with a View’ using 4D motion graphics so children are distracted by immersive moving imagery from underwater scenes to wildlife in the rainforest.

Olympic Holidays CEO Clare Tobin called into the hospital to discover children are now needing 40% fewer sedations due to this calming technology, and in turn the Alder Hey team are able to see far more patients every day.
